Music Ministry

There is just something about a song. There is just something about God's people gathering together. When the two combine,  there is something special that happens. The praise and worship go up to the Lord's ears and the blessings, from  Heaven, fall down on His people. What a privilege it is to come into the sanctuary and sing to our God, our Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Worship and praise to the Lord have been around for a long time. The Psalmist has much to say about songs, instruments, worship and praise to our Lord. He said, "sing aloud unto God our  strength and make a joyful noise unto  the unto the God of Jacob; O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful to the Rock of our salvation." 

Paul also wrote, "Singing to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to  the Lord." It is our desire at Liberty to sing, to worship, to praise, to glorify, to honor, to lift up the name of our great and awesome Creator God. We strive to  praise the Lord Jesus Christ for who He is and all He has done for us. 

There is something about God's people coming together to worship, praise, and  sing. What an honor we have! It is like a Family Reunion. It is around the "Father's Table" that we gather to share the burdens of our day; to encourage and advise one another, and to feast on the life-giving Bread, fellowship, strength, encouragement and joy - these we find when the family of God gets together. 

We worship because we really do need each other and we long to glorify our Lord. Come join us at Liberty.
